El Paso Metals & Supply, Inc. opened its doors in 1972 by founders Pete and Hilda Borrego. The Borrego's saw a need to provide local businesses with a diverse product line and service that had been lacking in El Paso at the time. They started in a 5,000 sq ft location on Yandell Dr. in central El Paso. Three years later, the business outgrew its original location and relocated to an 18,000 sq ft building at 7000 Industrial Ave, where it remains today. To meet increased demand and to better provide our clients with a more extensive inventory to choose from, a 20,000 sq ft warehouse was added.

In 2022, after 50 years running El Paso Metals & Supply, Inc., Pete was ready to hang up his hard hat and pass the business along to his sons, Pedro and Eric. With over 80 years of experience in the business, there was no one more qualified to continue the vision of Pete. Pedro and Eric remain committed to providing the region with excellent customer service and extensive inventory.
